I feel so out of place,
Even in my own skin.
There’s no place to turn,
Nowhere to even begin.
Deep within the roots,
A crawling, burning pain.
Tingling my entire body,
Driving
me insane.
When it feels like the world,
Stands at your back.
The people you thought you knew,
Aren’t on the same track.
Realizing that you are all you have,
I find the strength within.
To push the pain away,
In order to find my own place to begin.
